The Sheikh Zayid Mosque in Abu Dhabi is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates and is therefore called the "Grand Mosque".
For the construction of the Grand Mosque the natural stone coverings on the façades and the indoor area were bonded with AKEPOX® 5010. The coverings were then impregnated with AKEMI Stain Repellent Super to protect them against weathering. The main square, made of white SIVEC marble, was renovated from 2019 to 2020 and grouted with the non-yellowing EVERCLEAR 300.
