Visibility and anti-slip stripes on public staircases

For barrier-free construction in public areas, DIN 18040/part 1 of the German Institute for Standardization stipulates that both the entry and exit steps be provided with a visual stripe on the step (horizontal) and on the riser (vertical).

For the visual stripe on the tread (horizontal), we recommend the product AKEPOX® 4050 Anti-Slip Mix.

For the visible stripe on the riser (vertical), the Lettering Colours Sprays are particularly suitable in combination with our Lettering Primer Spray.
